One of the most striking and immediate features strangers notice about Estrid are her pale green eyes and long, fiery red hair. She stands at 5 fulms and 8 ilms and 126 ponze, mostly made up of lean muscle. After years of serving with the God's Quiver and continuing her strict training regimen long after she retired as Godsbow, she has pushed her body to impressive limits and puts an exorbitant amount of effort into retaining her figure. Being mostly pear shaped, she has wide-set hips and holds most of her weight in her legs, but because she has spent so long practicing proficiency with a bow, her shoulders are prominently muscular, as well. Even though she is quite lean, her facial features quite soft and motherly in nature. Despite many attempts to tan, her skin remains a shade of rosy pale, littered with freckles that gather on each of her joints. Because she is often focused on other tasks (hunting, singing, working out, etc.), and mostly because she finds it uncomfortable, she is never adorned in makeup.
Though most will most likely find her sporting something loose, brown, and with boots, there is one thing that she is never seen without, and that is a hat. No matter the outfit or the occasion, Estrid is always adorning a hat. She claims that the reason for this is because she is prone to catching colds, but, she's been spotted wearing head gear on the beach of Limsa on multiple occasions. While the true reasons may lie with her, it has become a staple in recognizing her from afar. She dresses modestly most of the time, but, certainly isn't afraid to show some skin if the weather calls for it.
Scars, Markings & Other Features:
As mentioned before, her entire body is covered in freckles, however they are most prominent on her shoulders, knees, elbows, and hips.
Because she enjoys to keep herself busy and mostly get into trouble, one will often find her littered with small scratches and bruises.
Often carries a neutral expression unless she is in the presence of good company. It's easy to tell if she is fond of someone, simply because she will begin to smile at the sight of them and won't stop until they're gone.
When Estrid was younger, she was well known for her spunky attitude and fearless nature. She was never one to shy away from running through the mud barefoot or snatching onto the neck of a chocobo to take it for a joy ride, whether it wanted to or not. This continued to be her nature well into adulthood; it was rare to see her without a smile or cracking an ill-timed joke. One of her favorite things to do was to try and get someone to laugh with her ridiculous antics. However, as she grew older, her demeanor began to slowly change after she gained some life experience, and she is now a more mulled version of her former self.

Estrid loves this stupid Elezen to death, but she certainly likes to keep that to herself. Both had heard one another's name while in Gridania, and had met once or twice, but did not become better acquainted until later in life. Being another Bard, and arguably better than Estrid herself (he most certainly is, but she would never admit it), the two fell hard for each other after Estrid came to him for training. After spending nearly a year in Coerthas, their feelings became impossible to ignore, though both knew well it would be unwise to pursue a proper relationship. After there was nothing else he could teach her, Estrid made the difficult decision to leave Coerthas to pursue what her heart truly desired, which unfortunately meant leaving Alfeaux. Despite this, the pair still write to each other religiously, and whenever Estrid finds herself in Coerthas, he's always her first visit.
A coworker she first became acquainted with in the God's Quiver. Her parents were business partners alongside his, but throughout her childhood, Estrid had never met Alystair. It wasn't until she noticed that he was enlisted alongside her that they finally started to be friendly. There was never any animosity between the two until both of their families had decided to continuously pressure the two to marry. Even though this was something that the both of them did not approve of, it's become a running joke amongst both families.
Most people say that daughters are the spitting image of their mother, but this is not the case with Finna. She is, in all ways, the polar opposite of Estrid: quiet, patient, and caring to a near fault. Despite this, Estrid and her get along well, even if sometimes her mother pesters her with her endless concern about what could go wrong on her journeys. She is a novice conjurer who never practiced through the Guild, and after falling greatly ill, has been unable to manipulate aether. Estrid knows her time is limited and visits as often as she can.
Estrid's father, a very well-known Botanist who later fulfilled his dream of owning a farm. A very simple man of few words; something that Estrid greatly appreciates. Mostly because when he does speak, it's near impossible to see his mouth behind that gigantic beard, and it never fails to make Estrid laugh. She always considered herself to be a daddy's girl, and because of that, picked up many of his talents while she was out with him on the farm.
Found this one scratching on her back door, quite literally. He was malnourished beyond belief and sick as a dog, so Estrid housed him for quite a few months, and eventually, he became a member of the family. As he appears to have a pretty severe case of amnesia, Estrid adorned him with a new name she thought was fitting of the Miqo'te (and a nickname, of course!). She thinks of him as a younger brother, even though she doesn't know how old he really could be. Even though she knows damn well that he is ilms stronger than her, she knows better than anyone how much of a teddy bear he truly is. If there was any Miqo'te in Eorzea she would take a bullet for, it would be this one.
A conjurer that Estrid managed to continuously run into in her many assignments with the Conjurer's Guild. The two made quick friends the moment they both discovered their passions for alcohol and late nights. Estrid treasures the many nights they spent belting the day's woes in the Adders' Nest, and the wonderful adventures she had while working with the God's Quiver. After Estrid had left Gridania, however, the two slowly began to lose touch, and letters became few and far between. The last that she had heard of Y'ihra was when she received word of her husband's passing.
Once childhood friends turned long, lost lovers. The pair were married for a handful of years after discovering each other once again, and even opened a successful business together. After long, however, things turned sour, and Estrid requested for some time apart from him and from their business to fulfill her thirst for adventure. When she finally did return to their home, it was only because she had been informed that he was to be remarried to another woman, and so she annulled their marriage on her own and ventured out to Coerthas without a word. A tough conversation point for Estrid that will usually end in a shift in topic.
